My inspiration for these cutting board designs comes from my appreciation of the natural beauty and bounty of Nantucket – an appreciation passed on to me from my father, who loved the island dearly. He brought my family to the island in the early 1970's and I have spent summers here ever since. Most days, you will find me out on the water, fishing from both the surf and by boat, and often stopping to help a sailor or swimmer in need. Then its back to the house to create gravlaks or smoked bluefish pate from my catch of the day. I always try to take time to enjoy one the best things about Nantucket – incredible sunsets and a swim amongst the waves. Nantucket is truly a wonderful place: just as my father passed his love of the island on to me, I hope to pass my appreciation of this special island on to others.
